If the title didn’t give it all away already, today I am going to share my knowledge with you about perfumes! There is so much to know and so many products out there to buy and I am going to show you how to pick the best one! So sit back and soak in this knowledge so that you can soak up the right perfume!
First off, the cheaper you buy the perfume the shorter life its going to have on your skin. You don’t have to buy the most expensive perfume on the market but you definitely don’t want to go cheap. The reason lies within the ingredients of the perfume. The best tip to know is more oil less alcohol. A good perfume should have a life span of four to eight hours but if you buy the cheap stuff you're lucky if it lasts for two. So girls, this is what I suggest... Go to your local Nordstrom, Macy’s, or Sephora and try on the perfumes you think smell best. Look at the ingredients to see how much alcohol was added and go on your computer and go to www.amazon.com and type in the perfume you wish to purchase. It will save you some cash and it will be more fun to receive it in the mail!
Now to dig a little deeper... The scent I wear always depends on the occasion. If you need an every day scent that will turn heads as you walk by, here are a couple perfumes I suggest:
Euphoria by Calvin Klein
This perfume is floral and musky. It’s a stronger smell and has had many great reviews! My Mama has been wearing this perfume for three years now and here's what she had to say:

This perfume may be a little bit of a splurge but its a great scent that I personally love to wear. It’s an ultra-feminine floral smell and has some powdery notes. I have worn this perfume for at least two years now and it just goes so well with my dresses and it's especially a great perfume to wear into the holidays. It just smells very girly! It’s almost a better-made vintage smell. The smell has re-invented powdery notes to make you smell elegant! I totally recommend this perfume for hard working business women or just any fashionista looking to make a statement with something other then her outfit.
Clinique Happy Heart
People who wear say it makes them feel like they really do have a “happy heart.” It's a light scent with flowery notes of violet. It's a very peppy scent perfect for early mornings and all day wear. I would say that it's good for us, busy college students, who need a wake-me-up! It's light and it's happy, it's all in the name.
Ok girls, this is where the video fits in! Studies have shown that men like the smell of food so much that on a woman’s skin it makes us simply irresistible. What men are most attracted to coming off your skin is the scents of baked goods, candy, and fruit. So if your trying to grab that guys attention a silent way here a couple perfumes I suggest to you:
Pink Sugar by Aquolina
This perfume has been on the best seller’s list on www.sephora.com for years! It smells like cotton candy! I used to wear it and it would get people talking around me. It comes off the skin nicely and it is such a different unique smell that it will have not only the men talking. If you want to make an impression this is a great way to do it! I promise you will smell delicious as long as you wear this perfume! Its good for day and night wear! Boys, if your reading this and you have a girlfriend, this would make an awesome stocking stuffer! It will not only make her smile but you’ll smile too once this scent fills your nostrils!
Romance by Ralph Lauren
Guys just seem to get excited when talking about this perfume... I think it's the hint of ginger notes along with the floral notes that drives them absolutely crazy. I haven’t tried this one yet, but trust me it’s next on my list. One guy said that his wife has been wearing it for ten years and to this day it still drives him crazy every time she wears it. That's pretty amazing!
Blu Mediterraneo by Acqua Di Parma
I was in Disney World, in an Italian store when I purchased this perfume. I have become obsessed with imported scents ever since! It's imported straight from Italy and the scent is rich of vanilla notes. People have been telling me I smell like cake batter or cookies, and it's such a warm scent that it would drive any male crazy. I like to wear it every day and in the evenings. The smell even makes my own taste buds water! It’s not at all musky, just sweet and vibrant! I recommend this to anyone who has a sweet tooth or knows their man has a sweet tooth...
This is my last bit! I am going to give you a couple perfume tips! When you buy a new scent to make it stand out even more, put on the lotion and then spray all your pulse points with the perfume. Pulse points are your neck or throat area, backs of your wrists, inner part of your elbow, and behind your knees. These are good areas to put perfume because they give off body heat and help the notes of the perfume lift off your skin.
